Formula 1 - Italian GP

Post by Earl Grey »

Never seen ickle Lewis given such a 'friendly' reception stepping onto the top step of the podium....
....he tried to turn it around by claiming that the crowd being against him fired him up. Not sure he needed it....Vettel seems to be doing a very good job of throwing it away by being a dick.
Still going to be tough for Hamilton because the Ferrari really is significantly the better jalopy at the moment.....Mercedes need some serious upgrades to match it.
If Vettel is ahead of Hamilton every race left then he'll win comfortably as long as being ahead includes a few wins.....
.....but if Hamilton can win, say, 3 of those left then it becomes very difficult for Vettel unless Hamilton has a DNF.....some might say his car is due a mechanical fault.
Stop looking for solutions to symptoms and start identifying the disease.

Hamilton praised Ferrari in his post-race interview. He obviously knows the superior performance of his rival's car and must be pressing Mercedes to improve his own machine.

But Ferrari still need their lead driver to perform without making stupid errors over the next few races. The season is not over yet!
