Petar Durin
Haven't seen anything on Petar Durin since we signed him from Atalanta. Anyone know anything?

Re: Petar Durin
My initial reaction was, "Who?"
Then a search found this on the web dated 31st July 2018:
"Portsmouth have reportedly agreed to sign young Atalanta BC goalkeeper Petar Durin.
The south coast outfit are currently preparing for the start of the new League One campaign, but it appears that the club are still conducting business with regards to the future.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio's website, an agreement has been reached between Portsmouth and Atalanta for 17-year-old stopper Durin. The teenager spent time playing for the club's Under-17 side during the last campaign, but the Croatian will leave Atalanta after just 12 months with the Nerazzurri. The report claims that Pompey will hand Durin a three-year contract."
Three year contract for a 17 year-old? Really? Plus no recognition of Alfie B, now out on loan, and our two good current goal keepers?
What does this say about the whole report?

Thanks - happy to stand corrected.
Under Tornante, there has been an excellent policy of supporting talented young players.
But I am still slightly mystified by this particular move: Durin must be good!

Re: Petar Durin
Just to expand a bit more, I believe that we paid a fee for him to join the academy after a trial with us, and he signed a two year contract with an option for a further year. I think he was a signing for the future as per Eisner's long term plan.

Re: Petar Durin
I see that he has now arrived and played his first match for the academy, by all accounts doing pretty well.
