Table positions after 18 games - predictions

Post by RubiconCSL »

Here's my guess at table positions after the next 5 games (or 6 for a few teams), which takes each team to 18 matches.

Code: Select all

1. Pompey - 11 pts gained - 41 pts
2. Peterborough - 11 pts gained - 38 pts
2. Doncaster - 14 pts gained - 38 pts
4. Barnsley - 11 pts gained - 36 pts (6 games)
5. Walsall - 11 pts gained - 33 pts (6 games)
6. Sunderland - 8 pts gained - 31 pts (6 games)
7. Accrington - 6 pts gained - 29 pts
Any other takers?

If I'm right, then we've probably avoided relegation at that point :)

Look, some of us are nervous already without all this speculation. I’m convinced that by the end of January we will have slipped back to being on the edge of a play off place. Then with a bit of luck we might just scrape in before being knocked out in the first round of matches. On the other hand we might get even better and romp home as champions. It’s more unpredictable than the Brexit outcome. But far more important. 😃😃😃

Well I nailed it with our points. Clearly I don't have a Scooby about any of the other teams!
