Engerland v Spain (away)

Post by Earl Grey »

Pah......easy, peasy! Knock in a quick 3 first half and sit back soaking up the pressure.....bit like Pompey.
Why can't Engerland (and Pompey) just go 2 or 3 goals up and then play keep-ball....and nick one or two more?

Know what you mean, we were saying just that. We were in with the Spanish fans, not overly happy with us leaping about & singing but no trouble :D

Were you among the small group Sky zoomed in on in the first half? Did make me laugh.

Can't remember the last time I enjoyed an England game so much. Not only did we play very well indeed, but it was a great game to watch. You are right too in that it did have similarities to our game against Wimbledon on Saturday!

Not sure (have not watched it back yet) but I think it was probably a group to our left. There was thousands all over the ground, was really funny watching the crowd when we scored, England fans going nuts all over the place :D
