FA Cup 2nd Round
After the success of round one, I am on a roll, so will start off the second round thread.
The draw for the second round is at 7pm tonight (on BBC2, etc.).
Teams of interest that I haven't visited and reasonable for travel definitely in R2 are Woking, Maidstone, Lincoln & Solihull. Teams that have replays include Oxford City, Slough, Sutton, Forest Green, Ebbsfleet & Billericay. So some hope of another good away draw.

Re: FA Cup 2nd Round
I'd like Woking away though have been there before - we played them in a pre-season friendly a few years ago.
The only two I don't want us to draw home or away are Sunderland and Barnsley - anyone else I'd feel confident we could beat.

Re: FA Cup 2nd Round
Let’s have a non league team at home - good for them and us. Then Man City at home in round 3. Then .......

Could be worse. I was hoping for Plymouth at home but we can't have everything. Don't think it will hold too many fears for Kenny and the boys.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!

Very unexciting draw for several reasons. As rumourmonger says, if we both play to our abilities, Pompey will win, but this is the FA Cup.

Agree with you. This is Pompey playing in the FA Cup - brilliant (and lucky) sometimes. But totally unpredictable on occasions!Selsey Bill wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 8:22 am Very unexciting draw for several reasons.
