Mostly not very exciting but there was one dreadful moment when Hulkenberg's car got flipped and landed upside down. All seemed ok as the halo protected him but then it became clear the car was starting to catch fire and he couldn't get out. Fortunately there were stewards all over it with extinguishers and he made light (ahem) of it afterwards.
Sad day as Alonso bowed out but really nice touch by Vettel and Hamilton as they both drove up alongside him as the cars finished and made their way back and gave him a kind of guard of honour.....then the three of them indulged in doughnuts.
And Hamilton took off his top on the podium to show his tats off to everyone.
It had the feel of a close championship but Hamilton ended up on 408 points, Vettel on 320 and Kimi on 251 so not that exciting in the end.
