Late Nite with The Cincinnati Kid
Hi Ho Kid fans!...and a happy post thanksgiving greeting from the USA. Especially to our Stripy chum(p)s from down the road. May your Thanksgiving turkey be undercooked and may you please sign Mark Hughes to a long term contract.
How about those blues eh….4pts clear at the top and 10 pts clear of the play off cut off. Huzzah!
Well, it’s time for a long overdue edition of Late Nite and let’s not waste any time.
After Thanks giving dinner, y’all will want some desert.
Have some Cake.

Re: Late Nite with The Cincinnati Kid
Up next we’ve got a little female power trip and some boots. Hey, it’s the year of the woman.
I like women in long boots.
This was covered by Jessica Simpson a little more sexily but I like that 60’s thing myself, so here’s the original with Nancy Sinatra in the boots.

Yeah, yeah….I know….I overdo Setzer but the bloke can sure make that Gretch scream. And I like that 18 piece Big Band thing ever since I saw the Glenn Miller Story. You know they never found that bloke. He’s at the bottom of the channel somewhere. Btw….if yer keeping count, Glenn Miller had more top 10’s and more #1 hits than both Elvis and the Beatles.

Re: Late Nite with The Cincinnati Kid
Now usually, I find a way to inset a bit of smut in this show but it’s the Me Too era and that sort of objectifying wimin stuff just isn’t cool anymore.
So, from here on in, there’s going to be no more of this.

The Stone Roses should have been a global long term sensation. The next U2 if you like. But they feked it up. Still, that doesn’t take away from the FACT that their debut album certainly makes the top 20 British albums of all time.

Let me set the scene for “Bambulance”
American redneck hits a deer with his car. This is pretty common here in the USA even in cities and suburbs as deer are rampant.
Anyhoo, like any good redneck, he puts the dead deer in the back seat of his car. Hey….it’s dinner for a couple of weeks.
Except the deer aint dead yet………..

Funnily enough I was listening to SRV's Voodoo Child in the car earlier this afternoon - what a player. Have you ever put up his Sound Check clip on here? Spaced out or what!

Ref. the Smut. Have to admire the lady's incredible flexibility, If I tried to do anything approaching the splits I'd damage myself badly. Amazingly supple she is.

Another one gone before his time unfortunately
Note to famous people....stay away from small aircraft! There's 2 casualties mentioned in this small show.
Wonder if they will ever find Glenn Miller?

Add Randy Rhodes to the list of guitarists who never should have mixed with light aircraft.

Not got time to study all of these videos at work - in fact one may well not be quite suitable. I may have to pay closer attention later this evening though.

I am not tech savvy, but for those who like Voodoo Child covers, have a look for Jess Greenberg's version on Youtube - do try to stop your attention being distracted please!

Re: Late Nite with The Cincinnati Kid
bahahahaha…..I'm VERY familiar with Ms Greenburg's guitar skills and she can have no complaints about the comments on her many videos as she puts the puppies out there in every single one of them!Berkshire Blue wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 1:58 pm I am not tech savvy, but for those who like Voodoo Child covers, have a look for Jess Greenberg's version on Youtube - do try to stop your attention being distracted please!
