FA Cup 3rd Round

Post by Pompey Penguin »

Here we go again, and I'm getting in before someone breaks my winning run! FA Cup 3rd round draw is 7:30 pm on Monday.

Obviously lots of potentially great ties in this round, and everyone will have their favourites (including the option of a 4-1 win). Is it time for a home draw, or should we take our unbeaten away record to Man. City or Liverpool?

From a ground ticking angle, I want away to Liverpool, Everton, Bournemouth, Swansea, Wigan, Millwall and whatever is left from the lower divisions (Woking, Lincoln, Wrexham, Southport and Guiseley; some of which require replays).

I'd like the trifecta of Man Utd away.

1. Cash for the coffers thank you very much
2. They aren't very good right now
3. We beat them there last time

And bonus, we could be the reason Moanrinho gets fired. His act is getting a bit old fer sure
Div III. Call it what it is.

A Prem team at home gives us an almost certain chance of main TV coverage, anyone from the lower reaches provides a possible shock win. I fancy a 4-1 home win against a local side :-)
