Harry Harris - number

Post by jambo »

Hello all,

I’m looking for some info on Harry Harris who played for Pompey from 58 - 71, specifically what number he usually wore? Hoping a fan of the slightly older generation might be able to help!

Thanks,
Jambo

A challenging question. In the early years he played at no 10 with occasional switches to other positions. Later on he played most often at no 6. I remember him well.

And. He had 378 league and 46 cup appearances and scored 49 goals. From 1958 to 1970.

And welcome to the forum 😃😃😃

Great. Thanks ever so much for your help.

My sister in-law to be is Harry’s daughter and I’m looking to arrange a gift for her, so this has been a great help.

Good luck for the season.
