Re: Norwich Match
Two points.
Firstly, small things that make a goal happen. Donohue, Green, obviously, but the run from David Wheeler outside Green makes Zimmermann take a turn/step that way which gives Green room to turn inside. Wheeler ran 80 yards without touching the ball, but if he hadn't, the two Norwich defenders would have doubled up on Green and probably no goal.
Secondly, Jack Whatmough. The last survivor from the Aldershot debacle. I bet he feels a lot better this morning than he did four years ago.

Re: Norwich Match
great points. I was wondering who the marauding midfielder was providing the overlap down the right hand side: well done WheelerPompey Penguin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 9:41 am Two points.

Re: Norwich Match
.......and Pompey receive £67,500 prize money from winning this game.
plus 40% of any gate money from round four.
The win is probably worth circa £250,000 to the club

I don't know what we are paying Andre Green, but I think we can assume that he has earned it.
