Mr Catlin feels exactly the same way and has raised this with the FA. To their credit, the FA have reacted sympathetically, but not sympathetically enough to wipe out his first yellow.Earl Grey wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 9:27 amSomeone on another MB made the good point that it's unfair that Chumps and Prem clubs won't have to worry about suspensions due to multiple yellow cards at the 4th round stage because they only join in at round 3.Milton End wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 11:21 pmPossibly but without Jamal Lowe who is not allowed to play in this next Cup match?
Big disadvantage for the lower league clubs!
This needs looking at......perhaps wipe all yellows at the round 3 stage?

Re: FA Cup 4th Round
How about if we'd drawn another L2 team that hadn't got anyone suspended. We would then gain an unfair advantage in that we'd both have played the same number of rounds.
Maybe there is no fair answer other than yellows and reds in all competitions count the same.

Pompey v. QPR will be on the Saturday (26th) at 3pm.
Not selected for TV, either in UK or overseas. Not surprising as it is possibly the least interesting tie in the whole round.

Oh I don't know. Doncaster Rovers v Oldham Athletic takes a bit of beating in the "dull as ditchwater" stakes.Pompey Penguin wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 11:51 am Pompey v. QPR will be on the Saturday (26th) at 3pm.

Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!

Very true SB but have to say Derby looked a decent side and to be honest we have more pressing issues to worry about.

I agree. If (and I'm still not overly confident) we happen to get promoted this season, Derby is an example of the standard of team we would be playing against next season - and we are nowhere near good enough to compete at that level at the moment.itsaintfunny wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 8:52 amVery true SB but have to say Derby looked a decent side and to be honest we have more pressing issues to worry about.

The defensive 5 are well sorted. The attacking 4 are well sorted. One of the holding 2 is well sorted. It remains to be seen how well and how quickly Bryn Morris fits in.Selsey Bill wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 10:13 amI agree.
