Looking back on that first match of the season you cannot help but think that Luton now deserve to have gone top. They were really unlucky that day but have more than made up for it since. Barnsley too are now serious contenders for automatic promotion along with Sunderland and Pompey. And Charlton are not out of it.
It was nice to have some relief from the tension of the league today. A draw was a fair result even if it has added to an already crowded fixture list.
An exciting few weeks ahead.
