Re: R.I.P Gordon Banks
I remember it well. Watched it live. Thought our team in 1970 was better than in 1966.
Avatar: Harry 'Brusher' Mills (19 March 1840 – 1 July 1905) was a hermit, resident in the New Forest in Hampshire, England, who made his living as a snake-catcher. He became a local celebrity and an attraction for visitors to the New Forest. No relation as far as I know

Re: R.I.P Gordon Banks
I was fortunate enough to watch the game late on the telly as a wee 6 yr old and it was followed by the premiere on BBC of The Green Beret which I was allowed to watch as well. It was my father and brother (Pompeyfan200) who were also at home as the women had gone off for the weekend....
That said, for some reason, I thought Gordon Banks died about 8 years ago. RIP to one of our finest keepers.
