Like Whittingham and Awford? How did that go?
See also; Steve Claridge and Tony Adams of recent times.
Claridge and Adams....see above.....already here and offered caretaker missions after the departure of a manager. Not sought out. I'll give you Adams though....he's in my Lampard Gerrard mold and I'd have given him a shot at the time.

Ok, I’m getting ready to duck now.

Well...here's the thing...imo we never search everywhere for potential managers. Not that other teams are particularly brilliant at it.
We never go up and coming Johnny Foreigner for starters. We always go for Ex Pompey guy hanging around or journyman lower league experienced guy.
Open the door a bit wider.

What we really need is someone with a proven track record of getting teams promoted from League One. Oh - er ...

I think we have to accept our lot at least until the end of the season. I can't remotely see the Eisners sacking Jackett #brickbybrick

If we do get rid of Kenny at the end of the season , I would put my twopenneth forward and say Gary Rowett.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!
