This is almost unheard of: someone that has been associated with the club in the past, being of less than sound character. I can only think of every owner for about 5 years following the departure of MM (visible and invisible), chairmen, sleeping arms dealers, unethical players contracts...... Hardly that bad a record for a club / company really.
I do believe that the tea lady was probably the only one that should have passed the fit and proper persons tests over a period of at least 5 years. Well, maybe Kev the Kitman too.
