Re: Wycombe
Stop the clock. Barnsley and Sunderland both 1-0 down. Won't last!

Re: Wycombe
Final whistle. We win, Sunderland look like winning and Barnsley lose - could be a lot worse.

Re: Wycombe
Looks like Sunderland will grab that second spot, thought their heads might drop after Sunday but fair play to them 6 points since then, still in a way rather not have them In a revenge final at Wembley if it came to it

Re: Wycombe
They will deserve it if they do. They have a really tough series of matches left. A lot could be riding on our April visit. Glad I have my ticket.

I think (and hope)Sunderland will grab 2nd spot, I don’t fancy the idea of a return Wembley trip against them. Barnsley are looking a bit shaky, we seem to be steadily ploughing on, and Charlton are creating breathing room too.New Forester wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 5:53 pm They will deserve it if they do. Re: Wycombe
Typical Pompey performance, should have been out of site by half time, but weirdly they could have been 2-1 but for two superb saves from Big Mac. As soon as we took a 2-0 lead we did our usual and sat back, inviting them to pump long balls up field - they bring on the Beast who causes all sorts of problems - their first goal was coming. Just as well Brett was on good form today as we needed his free kick to go in. When they got their 2nd we looked very nervy, and possibly a little tired? Still, in the end we won, and took all three points. Would have been the perfect day, but for Sunderland's late winner.
Re: Wycombe
Just watched the goals on Sky. Wycombe’s first looks a yard offside, nobody is stopping that second though. Hell of a finish.

Re: Wycombe
Anybody got any idea why the referee didn't follow the assistant's flag and give Wycombes first goal as offside? I can't see anything.
