Well done Spurs!

Post by New Forester »

Lost for words! Two amazing nights and an English club will win the Champions League.

Can't believe it. I stopped watching at half time with Spurs dead and buried. After getting a couple of chores done, I did some onlione stuff and put the game back on just as Spurs got the equalizer....

Never believed it would turn out deep in their own half with 15 seconds of the 5 minutes left to play.....then another last gasp effort put them through.

Wow!!!

Got to feel for Ajax though...the best 'footballing' team over two legs.

If you'd had money on an Ajax v Barcelona final , you'd have been counting your winnings before last night.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!

I loved the Bob Marley "Don't Worry About a Thing" by Ajax as they came on for the second half too - Doh! :)

Big chance of an all English Champs League and Europa League final too.

Chelsea should beat Frankfurt at home, and Arsenal should have enough to defend 3-1 in Valencia.

But after the last couple of days - who the hell knows??

Well done to Spurs - superb effort 2nd half.

Over both legs though Ajax were the better side and I think they would have posed a greater threat to the scousers in the final.
