I don't normally have much of an opinion about our shirts, but I really don't like this one. It's the red, makes it look naff. Interestingly, someone posted a photo on Twitter of the the red replaced with white - it looks soooo much better

Totally agree, worst shirt in years.

And was pointed out by someone else, its just an exact copy of the Man U shirt of a few years ago, just with different colours. The neck, the panelling is identical.

Groundhog Day
Every year the same....out comes new shirt followed by the majority moaning about it.

You'd think by now that they (those guys / them in charge / 'er indoors) might figure out, start 2 months earlier, post 3 designs for the fans to vote on and make the best choice.

Personally, I quite like this one mostly because it has a sponsor that relates to the team and that isn't just some embarrassing ad for a second rate business or gambling or arab airline emblazoned across the chest which is the primary reason I haven't purchased team shirts in the past.

Listen....it could be worse....you might have ended up with a shirt like the stripys…..it has a basketball and a bunch of Chinese writing on the front.

Colour blindness has some benefits.

That's what I was thinking. Only thing I don't like about it are the 'collars'. And I remember Catlin saying they'd had requests to have some red on the shirt from supporters.

I rather like the new design.

Whether it's the same as a ManU shirt from some years ago is irrelevant IMO. Any shirt with a front, a back, a collar and short sleeves is bound to be similar to other shirts from the past.

Overall, I guess that it comes down to a judgement on whether to purchase it (or not)......
