Re: 2019-20 Season Preview
Thanks for the article.
The start of Pompey's league season (August) looks potentially tricky.
Shrewsbury (A). A team against whom we have struggled over recent seasons.
Tranmere (H). OK.
Sunderland (A). Obviously difficult.
Coventry (H). A good away team who should have got something at FP last season.
Rotherham (H). Postponed.
Blackpool (A). A place we have a good recent record, but another long trip.
Add on that we are embedding a few new players, especially in attack where it's not at all clear what is our best front four. A bit of bad luck and you could see us at the end of August with most teams having played six games, and Pompey on about 5 points. I just hope the fans don't get edgy, especially at FP, if we start slowly. (Of course, the reverse applies, and get through these and confidence will be very high).

Re: 2019-20 Season Preview
We are being widely tipped for promotion. I’d settle now for the play offs. But at least getting to the final this time. Looking forward to my next coach trip on Saturday and seeing our new team in action.

Well done old chap. The purist in me would like to point out that in this country, we spell the word C-E-N-T-R-E. Thank you.Sapra wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 3:08 pm I have written 2019-20 Season preview at https://footballleaguefc.com/portsmouth/ please give it a quick read and have a nice day.

Season Preview from another perspective.......
BBC Radio Solent Portsmoth FC Fans Forum - Thursday 1st August 2019 at 19.00 - with an audience of fans at Fratton Park - broadcast live with Andy Moon introducing the discussion.
Mark Catlin, KJ and Brett will be on the panel. I think that it will be available afterwards on the BBC website if you are not able to listen live.
