Burton - corner ahead!
I'm calling it now - tonight will see us turn the corner on our stuttering start to the season. We'll win by two goals tonight, play some good football and go on a ten match unbeaten run!

Interesting team:
Williams & Pitman come into the line up. Burgess still at Right Back, Naylor at Centre Half, Close & McCorie in midfield

Re: Burton - corner ahead!
Why is he playing such a makeshift back 4?
Seems he is trying to fit too many individuals in rather than pick the best 11.

What on earth is going on? He has had time to refresh the starting eleven and even had an easy run-out on the weekend so there is no excuse for a shambolic first ten minutes.
Makeshift defence...or invisible defence? We are officially in the relegation spots as it stands, and while it is early in the season, do the rose tinted spectacle brigade ever think it would start this badly?

65 minutes against ten men should be a good incentive...... though if they go down to 9, we could be in for a drubbing

Will we hear the hurrahs!! for the late penalty that salvaged a point........ or an honest assessment of what, reading the updates on BBC and not hearing the game at all, it must be said, appears to be another home failure. Yes we had lots more possession 70% - 30% and 25 shots to their 4, but it counted for the same in the end.

Listened to the second half on ifollow radio - sounded a shambles. Jackett has assembled a decent squad but doesn't seem to be able to get them to play together at all.

Re: Burton - corner ahead!
Didn't appear to be a great performance. Looking at the two conceded goals on the highlights, I'd say we were a bit unlucky with both. Two deflections, one setting up Sbarro perfectly and the other leaving McGillivray with no chance. Totally knocked the stuffing out of us - or anyone in that position.
Overall, not good though. This team needs to start gelling.
