Still Optimistic

Post by GreenBlue »

Am I happy with the season so far? No, not for points return nor performance. However, if it were not for those 3 90th minute goals we conceded we'd be safely in the play-offs with a game in hand. No good crying over spilled milk, I know, but despite our poor showing to date, we are still well in touch. Now to avoid the banana skin against Harrogate.

Yep, far from ideal given the squad we have - but looking at the table, it’s clear everyone is dropping points this year. Ipswich have dropped 12, but Wycombe in 2nd have dropped 15, Peterborough in 3rd have dropped 23...

Still a long way to go, but it’s not looking like a 90 point promotion year.
