Is it true that we receive a windfall of £250,000 for being the last team in our league left in the round?

Never heard that one; seems highly unlikely and random. Here is the official prize money list from the FA.

Plus around £250k if the match is broadcast live?

There won't be any replays for a draw on the night. Hence no further earnings from this round.

So we'd best make the most of the earnings from the game and look forward to £720k in the quarter finals! Plus more TV money.

Fifth Round Proper winners (8) £360,000
Quarter-Final winners (4) £720,000
Semi-Final winners (2) £1,800,000
Semi-Final losers (2) £900,000
Final runners-up (1) £1,800,000
Final winners (1) £3,600,000
Not sure why it shows winners of one round and losers of next in seperate amounts for semi/final, so I fixed it:
Fifth Round Proper winners (8) £360,000
Quarter-Final winners (4) £1,620,000
Semi-Final winners (2) £2,700,000
Final winners (1) £1,800,000

Following last night's result, we are now the only south coast team left in the competition. Can we have another £250k, please?

We're also the only team not based on mainland Britain. Can we have another 250K for that?

Meanwhile, Arsenal will play in the Europa league on Thursday 27th, at home to Olympiakos. No PL game at the weekend. So they will get an extra day's rest.

Wife’s birthday. Only just been forgiven for saying at a party that the happiest moment of my life was being at Wembley for the final whistle in 1966. Can I push my luck?
