Think you'll find a glute is a hamstring. It's the part of the muscle tendon that extends into the buttock.

I beg to differ Dinksy, the gluteal muscles are separate to the hamstrings - although obviously very close in proximity.

Although not an expert, I was under the impression that the gluteals are in the buttocks, whereas the hamstring is in the thigh.
