Re: Bolton
I am so glad we do not have any of those Arsenal prima donnas playing for us!! They are so conceited...at about 70 mins Saka wouldn't even walk 3 yds to pick up a ball for a throw in..over paid babies!!

Re: Bolton
Looks like he will replace Burgess
You can take the man out of Pompey
But you can`t take Pompey out of the man

Re: Bolton
That really was a hell of a tackle. It reminded me of Stuart Pearce on Darren Anderton in the QF years ago, albeit with a far worse outcome. Hope the bloke is alright. There was certainly no malice in it, just a real 'welcome to the game' effort.
The BBC commentary was interesting.
'Premier League players are wincing. Sunday League players are just shrugging their shoulders'
'if this was the Premier League, VAR would be all over that', followed by
'Play restarts. No booking for Bolton. Not even a foul'

Re: Bolton
We sit four rows back in the north stand about 8yds Milton side of the half way line, so I had a very good view of the linesman telling Mike Dean that it was a good tackle and he got the ball in two separate statements. I think without the linesman's very clear guidance Bolton might have been (wrongly) booked at least. I also had a good view of the tackle - the linesman was absolutely right.
While it's true to say that none of the Pompey team could play in Arsenal's league, I think it's equally true to say that none of Arsenal's would last long in ours.
