This is a wonderful achievement by the Captain but at no stage have I seen (or heard) any mention of the contributors of this collection. Once again, the amazing (mainly) British public put their hands in their pockets and raised a staggering amount of money for a worthwhile cause, like they do every year for a number of other worthy charity organisations.

So, well done Captain Tom..but also well done and thank you to the contributors. 8)

Yeah. Just when you think you might be done with lifes accomplishments you get promoted to Colonel, have an honor guard at yer birthday, a WW2 flypast and you get knighted!

So. having a lock-down to preserve the lives of those, whose days are sadly numbered due to age or ill health, IS worth the sacrifice to the economy. (deliberately playing devil's advocate 8) )
