A 91 year old friend of mine had a 1950s Morris Minor for over 40 years. It had done 364,000 on the clock when he sold it!

Did it have flames up the side ?
It did not but it was royal blue and white with white being the built in go fast stripe that Anglias had up the side.

Yes, that's what it was, a 'classic car', not an old banger like me. :smt005

VW Polo P reg back in 2009 just after I passed my driving test. Was a rusted piece of poop that cost me about £200 quid and was only expected to get a few months out of it while I sourced something newer but ended up lasting almost 4 years! Engine always cut out when idling at junctions and the heaters didn't work in the winter but still was a great little car and still the best car I've ever driven in the snow :rofl

Mint green Austin Metro D44 MBW . Actually the ownership was in my other half's name but that was the car we owned when I passed my test and so was the first car I drove on my own after passing the test. We drove it jointly until we had to get rid when my son came along and we needed something bigger to get all the baby paraphanelia in.
Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!
