Another winger wouldn't seem to be our top priority. Is it a sign that we know we are not getting anyone else?

I believe that he has mostly played on the left, although he is apparently right footed (like Ronan). He has also played on the right wing and as a central attacking midfielder. Unsurprisingly, his goals per game rate is far higher in League One than the Championship.

Disappointed it's not the number 10 we sorely need and worried it might mean Curtis is off.

KJ sees Jacobs as a No.10, which makes more sense.

32 goals, 32 assists for Wigan.

Sounds like a No.10 to me. Lots of love for him from Wigan fans on Twitter.

Just watched his YouTube interview, and he is seeing himself as a No 10 for Pompey. If he does well there it will be the end of a long wait!

A proper number 10 could unlock the Marquis goals
