Ah yes, gawd bless Leslie Nielsen. Was that from Police Squad or Airplane! ?
Anyway, just wondering if we are going to get our first glimpse of Jacobs. KJ was saying he wasn't fit enough last week.

I guess that seeing Pompey players among the top scorers in L1 this season may be a little hopeful :D

New sweepstake for when will we score a first league goal?

So, two clean sheets or two points dropped then depending on how you see it....

We have held the mighty Shrewsbury and Rochdale to goalless draws. Couldn't really hope for more!

And we have opened up a 2 point gap between us and the relegation places.

Two league games and two clean sheets and more importantly Whatmough involved in both. I was worried after he went off injured in the week so happy he was back on today. Looking at BBC report we have 23 shots and 5 on target so maybe we were unlucky not to score? Did anyone watch on iFollow?

Two clean sheets and a good defensive showing , I'd certainly like to see that at the moment.

The first half was pretty turgid and I thought that a mediocre Rochdale side probably shaded it. We were much brighter in the second half and Marquis missed two absolute sitters, but having said that they should have scored as well. Jacobs was on for about 20 minutes and looked okay. He spent some of that time wide on the left after Curtis came off.

It wasn't a complete disaster, but we really should be beating teams like Rochdale. In the end we were playing 442 and I think that we looked better for it, but maybe not against better teams.

Well at least you didn't have to pay for a ticket only to walk out early
