Re: Possible incoming.
He was a free agent? That's a surprise.
He ripped us apart a couple of seasons ago, when we nicked it 2-1 (and a bit undeserved too).

That win against Coventry was a steal; they deserved at least a point.
Anyway, I think our friends have been editing Jordy's Wiki page to account for his move to Pompey...

The Skates
Jordy Hiwula signed for the mighty Blues in October 2020. Likely to be played out of position, Jordy has till January to earn the Eisners' some dollar.

Not yet on the OS, but the Snooze are reporting it's a done deal, with quotes from Jackett.

Now on OS. I believe that he hasn't played any competitive games for quite a while, so will probably take some time to get up to speed - hopefully he will achieve it before Christmas! Better to take it steadily than come in too soon and get injured which can easily happen.

He offers a different option to Marquis et al. If, and it's a big IF, KJ sticks with 442 he and Big John could actually work really well together

Re: Possible incoming.
Hasn't played for ten months but with a contract only until January he will be highly motivated to earn an extension. I hope he gets the opportunity from the bench to get his fitness somewhere near the mark.

And Little Conor will rue the fact that KJ's only just worked out that 442 still works.Selsey Bill wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 10:54 pm He offers a different option to Marquis et al. If, and it's a big IF, KJ sticks with 442 he and Big John could actually work really well together
I actually think that team's have forgotten how to play against 442, as so few employ it these days.
