Plus, Charlton 0-2 Accrington on Friday night.
What is it about Charlton? Against Pompey they always look like the best team in the division; against everyone else they are very ordinary, especially when you consider the large budget Bowyer has to play with. We just don't seem to match up well against them.
Also, well done to Sunderland and Hull for arranging their game at short notice. This match was postponed from December, and played yesterday when both teams had other macthes called off late. Teams should be encouraged to play whenever they can.

Accrington go top soon on current form. How do they do it with such limited support?

As to their form. Great coaching?

In better news, Charlton drop points in a 4-4 draw at home with Rochdale last night, although as they were 2-4 down at HT they might consider it a point gained. They also had Jason Pearce sent off at the end, so he will miss a game.

Very true. Results can go our way all we want, and teams are dropping points all round, but if we don't win games then it will be of no help at all.pompeygunner wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 1:57 pm Just have to do our bit dont we starting saturday. But no one can see results haven't gone our way.

...starting away to Fleetwood on Saturday. I'm hoping they won't be the same force without Joey Barton in charge?Pompey Penguin wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 2:02 pmVery true. In other news, Rochdate have scored seven goals in their last two games, and only have two points to show for it. A cruel game if you can't defend.
