What I also find interesting is that Tom Lowery is also Welsh, and a better player than Morrell in my opinion, but he doesn't get a look in. I presume this is because Morrell has been playing in the Championship whereas Lowery has been playing in League 1 with Crewe and us.

Congrats to Joe Morrell. I hope Wales and he have a great tournament.
So Pompey can bank £250k from FIFA as 'compensation' for his involvement. Additionally Pompey picked up £90k from the televised win at Hereford and have a home game in the FA Cup 2nd round vs MK Dons that could see FP pretty full for that game - and I estimate Pompey taking in about £100k from that game at gate and concessions.
Best part of £440,000 secured in the last week! Good week then for Morrell and Pompey's finances.
