I would like to bump this but cos you are a sticky...........hang on, it might get to those that hit the see active posts.
Great stuff, hope you make your target. Haiti and Charlie seem to have taken peoples hearts but you still have about 6 weeks so good luck.

Had a dekko and hey, well done you. Look, tis a bad time of year for a lot of people, hopefully it will pick up soon. No thanks, just glad I can contribute to a very worthy cause.
Keep on training.

Re: Sport relief mile(s)
I had an email this week from sport relief, saying if I could raise (an additional) £25 by Thursday, I'll get an extra special sport relief reward. No idea what it might be, but what better time to dig deep if you haven't already and help me find out.
As an update, training is going well, done ten miles in total each week so far.

Done...
..and as they're far too modest to mention it (unlike me) - well done to VFTH & No.1 Jasp, who have raised over a third of your total between them!

Once again, thank you to everyone who has donated, annoyingly I'm still three pound short of the £25 mini target. Thanks for the offer of the stains shirt too, though I'm a long way from a grand at the moment.

Re: Sport relief mile(s)
Broke £300 today
Thanks to all of you for the donations in the last few days. Was also helped massively by a colleague who donated a days worth of salary uplift for working out in Saudi. Excellent stuff.
The special surprise was a video from sport relief showing various celebrities attempting to hula hoop. Wasn't the best surprise I'll be honest, but the important thing is the money raised. £5 is a malaria net for example.
Thanks once again to everyone from here that has donated to a complete stranger. It's truly amazed me.

TTNY, way to go. Your mum and dad lurk on here?? Are they registered, do we know them.........tell them to get stuck in. Great news about the donations. As someone pointed out VFTH and Jasper, I salute you both.
Hope it takes off mate, ok, lot of money to raise and the time of year is a bit against you. Lets just keep posting to keep in in the 'view active posts' etc.,

Re: Sport relief mile(s)
My mum has only recently started lurking, she's almost certainly not registered, my dad has lurked for a few years now. He might be registered but almost certain he never posts. Then again, he may well be p'n'c for all I know!
Re: Sport relief mile(s)
Hello TTNY mum and dad. He is doing a terrific thing here so get sponsoring.
OMG TTNY, to have P & C as your dad, suppose it would be different....
