Farmers Boy wrote:I've bought some stinkers in my time, Chicago 7, Trout Mask Replica, Deceit by This Heat...but this probably tops the lot for complete and utter uselessness.....I give you Brian Wilson's Smile.
No wonder it was kept under wraps for 37 years..it was carp then and is just as awful now. Half baked ideas, nonesense lyrics...boy was this ever a case of the Emperor's New Clothes.
Sorry, I cannot agree with you on Trout Mask Replica. A fine album, IMHO.
And I'm sorry but I HAVE to stand my ground and insist that TMR is a prime example of the horrors that ensue when an artist is given full control.
I challenge you to play Hair Pie to ANYONE with ears and get a response other than...What the FERRRRK!!
it's is who I am now it is my real name and has been for a year but was nervous of saying so on the footie boards, but couldn't hide it for much longer as if any of you met me it would be obvious
Well blow me down with a feather! Very brave of you to do this on a football forum - but as most of the posters here are reasonable human beans, I don't think it'll make a blind bit of difference to anyone - except to me who would particularly welcome more females posting on here - so start posting more! Every happiness, Stefani, for the future. x
Well said Ziggy & SB.
Keep posting Stefani
Agreed. Well said all of you.
Thanks for the support and kind words.
In transition to the real me, Currently on hold after surgical review until I loose 10kg anyone got a hiding place for it hopefully will be fully the true me now in 2017.

Think my point, if I got one , is you can still find great new music out there... Even here in petersfield you can see some quite good talent on a midweek night.
I haven't got a problem with the Simon cowbell ( ah sod spellchecker) and the likes of one direction etc, there's always been crap through the generations.
As a matter of interest, how do you stand about abba ( no jokes allowed ) ??
Permission to show off sir...I was on The Tube once with Edinburgh band The Twinsets.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

The second clip is from a sound check dated 5th September 1981.
