My sons deliver it, and occasionally peek at the sports page before stuffing it through the letterboxes. But please don't shoot them, he's only young and the wife would be upset.
Over the Easter weekend, one of them had an extra round to do, including Carmarthen Ave. He had around a dozen drops to do in that road, all bar 2 were the Mail.

Yeah, but they can't possibly be proper Daily Mail readers. Proper DM readers wouldn't live in a street named after a Welsh townthe_lock_man wrote: Over the Easter weekend, one of them had an extra round to do, including Carmarthen Ave. He had around a dozen drops to do in that road, all bar 2 were the Mail.

Yes, but it's an Avenue, not a Street, that's what makes it acceptable. It genuinely is an avenue too, trees up both sides. No Shot Sherlock wrote:Yeah, but they can't possibly be proper Daily Mail readers. I think the board's only accredited DM readers were Tinky Winky - who doesn't come on here very much as it got too political for him - and Sacre Bleu. Whatever happened to Sacre Bleu? He had a delightful lack of self-awareness and could always be relied upon to troll predictably and miss the point of pretty much all that was discussed.

Re: come on own up.
My father reads the Daily Mail, and has done since his retirement (over twenty years ago). Lots of his friends read it as well. Whilst my father is a sweet old man, I'm afraid that as he creeps into dotage he is turning in to an out-and-out racist, as are many of his friends. I am convinced that this change is due to reading this vile newspaper (combined with the loss of their ability to reason sensibly and question what they read).

Happy hour, you need to get yourself a paper round and take the piece with you. You would have to accept the impact it would have on your Christmas tips
