Chorley suspended for 4 games?
According to Son of Selsey, Chorley will miss the next 4 games not 3, as yesterday was his second red card of the season. It goes from bad to worse!

Chance for Whatmough to play in the position he's been groomed for?

Maybe, though he played very well in midfield on Saturday before moving back into defence. From the Ashes wrote:Chance for Whatmough to play in the position he's been groomed for?

SB, maybe it does get worse. But what a god awful challenge & he has form with red cards. So is it a loss?? Do we want someone who has a history of the red mist descending & like on saturday could've broken a leg.
I'd rather recall Adam Webster than play Bradley. Then again the whole situation is starting to look like its far too late to do, well anything.

That challenge was a potential leg breaker and I'd like to hope he apologised to the player, but very much doubt he has. Chorley was basically wound up by the player because he got a shove in the back from him a few minutes earlier. All part and parcel of the game and as a professional he really should be able to control himself better.pompeygunner wrote:SB, maybe it does get worse. I have to agree. He was a star and it'd be a shame to lose him from midfield if he plays like that again - however - cautionary tale - Shorey's first game in midfield was quite promising but his true instincts came back to him immediately afterwards and he proved to be a very poor midfielder after that....but a fantastic left-back.Selsey Bill wrote:Maybe, though he played very well in midfield on Saturday before moving back into defence. From the Ashes wrote:Chance for Whatmough to play in the position he's been groomed for?

Though I thought Shorey had his worst game for us at LB on Saturday! From the Ashes wrote:I have to agree. Captain lead by example and all that . What a ****** . Let's hope he does a Kevin Nolan and scores a few goals on his return after suspension . The captain of the team doing something like that is pretty unforgivable especially given our current predicament .
