Barker position to be discussed by Pompey tonight
From Neil Allen, The News:
Richie Barker’s position as Pompey boss will become clearer this evening.
The News understands chairman Iain McInnes and chief executive Mark Catlin are to meet up with the under-fire manager.
It has become a regular Wednesday afternoon fixture for the trio to come together to discuss the ongoing footballing progress at Fratton Park.
However, the future of Barker is clearly on the agenda tonight with massive concerns growing over dropping out of the Football League.
With the club just two points above the relegation zone, many Blues supporters are demanding the sacking of the manager after 108 days in the job.
As a result, opinions have been canvassed among the Blues’ board in the aftermath of last night’s 3-0 defeat at Rochdale.
In the meantime, the emergency loan window closes at 5pm tomorrow with Pompey in the market to strengthen, particularly up front.
And McInnes and Catlin are to speak to Barker over a way forwards for the club in the battle to avoid plummeting into non-league football.

so they meet every wednesday and there is no indication from the club they are reviewing his position, but the news are saying they are?
4 + 2 = 95
4 + 2 = 95

lets hope they do more than keep minutes & waste hours.......

It worries me that his treatment of Racon and Connolly tells me that Barker's ego is more important to him than the wellbeing of the club he is paid to manage.
I know this stuff happens, but at the expense of remaining in the football league? Racon must have been quite critical of Barker to be so out of favour.
