Lampard to Man City

Money talks I guess. I'm a bit disappointed in this. I've always felt Fat Frank displayed a little more professional integrity than your average footballer.

Can't imagine Chelsea fans are going to be too pleased. His halo will have slipped bigtime.

Not sure what the issue is here tbh.
He plays for NY and he's off on loan as its the off season here. Its pretty common for the top MLS players to go out on loan in the off season and City probably want him to have enough English players for their Chumps squad

Manchester City, New York City, Melbourne City are all part of the same organisation.

So Frank, you fancy playing Aussie A league to keep your fitness or the Premier League...

They still make those?

I thought the current morning routine was staggering out of bed and working through a 15-step coffee-making process using a £199 chrome-plated retro Smeg 3000 GSX...

What is the requirement, then?

Good question.
I can't be arsed to search through the Uefa rules but it's something akin to:
In a 25 man squad, 8 ish must have been trained in the nation as youngters and 4 ih must be from the clubs youff system.
If you cant make that number then your squad size is reduced accordingly.

This is part of the reason English prem players command transfer fees and salaries somewhat higher than Johnny Ferners of similar value and skill imo.

Mmm....well, I can't be bothered to research it either so I'll respect your figures unless a more authoritative source contradicts you.
Thanks, Mr The Kid.
