UEFA Nations League

Post by The Cincinnati Kid »

Never heard of it until I happened to read an England side story re the 2 upcoming internationals.
Must remember to turn on the cave lights.

Anyhoo….heard of it and any thoughts????

Seems a reasonable alternative to meaningless friendlies though I guess it means less meaningless friendlies against Brazil et al.

I understand there is a path to qualify for the Euros here somewhere, but I don't know the details. That seems to be part of the carrot to field a strong team and be competitive.
Meanwhile, Denmark are fielding non pros against Wales due to a dispute with their FA.
