Everyone says David Beckham is not very intelligent. No-one says that Professor Stephen Hawking is a rubbish footballer!

Re: FA Cup 1st Round
Me or Maidenhead ? It`s just that I passed West Leigh Park this morning and saw next match Maidenhead, so their must be two teams there.

Didn't mean you. I was referring to Maidenhead Utd. H & W were away today to Leyton Orient so they must be referring to a match in the coming days.

Re: FA Cup 1st Round
And tonight at West Leigh Park , Maidenhead had their goalie sent off when Havant & Waterlooville were 1-0 up . The game finished 7-0 .
Two defeats on the trot 6-0 and 7-0 not the best preparation for Pompey methinks.

Re: FA Cup 1st Round
After losing 7-0 to Havant and Waterlooville, making it 13 conceded in last two games, and languishing near the bottom of the National League this game v. Maidenhead should be a walk in the park for Pompey surely. It will be embarassing if we don't win, worse than the defeat to Aldershot a few years back. Also its live on BT Sport which make it even more important we nail this game. It will be interesting to see what sort of team Jackett puts out.

Importantly, I don't think that we should be misled by the recent Maidenhead results. This team is not to be underestimated in an FA Cup match.
As someone who used to live in Maidenhead, it would be good to see them doing well. But not at the expense of Pompey!
