Klopp and his team, yes. Fully deserved.
The fans? Y... Nope. Can't do it. Can't bring myself to say it.

Re: Liverpool clinching title
One of reasons I ask is that it took me back to Ballie's lot winning promotion to the old First Division in 1987. While it was incredible to realise that dream of returning to the top flight, the actual achievement was clinched when Shrewsbury drew mid-week. If that wasn't anti-climax enough, we finished the season by losing to Palace and Sheffield United.
With Liverpool you add on the suspension of the season and it feels all a bit of a damp squib for the neutral fan.

This is the first time Liverpool have won the Premiership title after 27 years of its existence. Such a Big Club? ironic that Blackburn & Leicester won the title before them.

I think Klopp is a wonderful coach and a decent man so pleased for him. His team sometimes played magnificent football and Salah, Mane, Van Dijk and the two wing backs were fantastic. Liverpool were extraordinarily consistent and ground out lots of hard fought wins, not always playing pretty football but thoroughly deserved the title.
First Premier League Title? Who cares? I am old school and don't see this as Liverpool's first title, I see it as their 19th.

well done , thoroughly deserved and love the Klopp man. Feel a tad bad for them winning it off the pitch with zero fans but at least Man Citeh will have to give them the guard of Honor this week end

We have still won the FA Cup more recently than they have!

We are in agreement GB . I was Especially pleased to see Mane's comments recently about not needing to buy Lamborghini's and other flashy extravagances , instead building schools etc that are needed in his home countryGreenBlue wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 9:49 pm I think Klopp is a wonderful coach and a decent man so pleased for him. They have been a joy to watch for some time now. Good to see the joy spread. I can’t be doing with animosity to any club. Even Saints and Sunderland. Every dog has his day. Even us soon.

We are politically poles apart and have clashed on this site many times and will do again but I bet we would agree on a lot more things in reality than we would disagree on.
