Haunstrup signs for Kilmarnock

Always hoped he'd come good as it's nice to see players come through the academy but guess he's not in Kenny's plans. Does that make Brown our only senior Left Back in the squad now? Hopefully we have a replacement lined up?

Still very annoyed. Far worse than Wallace, Webster, Clarke, Lowe moving on to higher league clubs.
In a world of reduced income streams, wage caps and reduced squad size, why would you antagonise a young, cheap player who can play both LB and RB at least competently for L1 and maybe better? IMO, this is borderline malpractice by management.

I didn't realise he'd made 19 appearances for us this season in all competitions so not exactly like he was dead wood either. He's gone to a Scottish Premier League team so it will be interesting to see how he progresses over the next couple of years.Pompey Penguin wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 3:10 pm Still very annoyed. He's wanted to leave for over a year and doesn't like Jackett much .

Yeah, I'm disappointed about this too.
I think he's desparately unlucky to have been injured at the same time as Brown decided he wanted his injury seen to, meaning that we had to recruit Seddon. Had Brown done that earlier or later, allowing Brandon a run in the team, it might have been different.

I before E except when you run a feisty heist on a weird beige foreign neighbour

Hope he does well enough. Personally I could.take him or leave him. Don't think he ever made a stand out performance really.
It would be nice to keep them all, but that's just not possible.

I think he had a good patch in the middle of the season, and showed what a decent left peg he's got, in both passing and shooting. Also the versatility to play both full back positions. But I'd still put him behind Brown in the pecking order.Pompey1984+1 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 6:33 pm Hope he does well enough. Personally I could.take him or leave him. All the best to the guy, hope he goes on to a great career.
