Keeping fingers crossed we're drawn against Banbury United as my nephew plays for them.

Ipswich Town v. Portsmouth

About as tough as it could get for both sides. Probably the tie of the round.

Well at least a tie with Canvey Island gives Banbury a chance of making it through to 2nd round.

Could be, but the TV companies seem to like to give the non-league teams some coverage in the early rounds, especially if they are at home to a league side and there might be an upset. Chorley v Wigan, Tonbridge Angels v Bradford City, FC United v Doncaster and Eastbourne v Blackpool would all be good candidates.

Not a tie for me. You always beat us when we play you in the FA Cup and usually at Portman Road so every right to be cautious. I saw you won 4 - 0 tonight and just behind us in the league. It will be tough but don't think Lambert cares too much about this competition. We just about gave up with Fulham in the League Cup a few weeks ago, nobody here seems to want a cup run in anything.

We'll try to beat you this time but not expecting much. Portsmouth if correct have been in 2 FA Cup Finals in the last 12 years while we haven't made it beyond Round Five since 1993. You do the maths.
