frankly - I think this is best for all parties, particularly Pompey.
He looks like he has agility and some ability as a keeper but I don't see him making it at Pompey and he needs to go and develop his game elsewhere and Pompey have a better prospect in my view in the young keeper Toby Steward.
Frees up some wages in the transfer pot if nothing else.

He's been out on loan anyway and there is the emergency loan option with keepers so I'm not sure it necessarily changes anything. Both him and Scofield are out of contract in the summer I think.
