How we ended up winning that match l will never know we have got to put it down to the occasion the amazing aspect is how we turned it round still its all irrevelant now.We are back to where we belong onwards and upwards

Actually I quite agree with this. I don't think I have squirmed so much during a game as last night's. I didn't think we were going to win, in fact I thought we were going to lose heavily. Barnsley had out played us for large portions of the game and probably should have gone into the break a couple of goals up. When they took the lead for the second time I thought it was game over. No one could get the Internet to see how Bolton was getting on. The thinking being that if they failed to win we were up. The two goals that followed took everyone from despair to delight. Only football can do that.

I think we have done that all season. I don't think we have looked like a top of the table team very often this season. Finding a way of winning is what has been the reason why we are where we are.jam tomorrow wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:01 am How we ended up winning that match l will never know we have got to put it down to the occasion the amazing aspect is how we turned it round still its all irrevelant now.We are back to where we belong onwards and upwards

Yes, but I’m going to the beach for a good swim to try and clear it. If that fails it will be into a nearby bar for some more beers, then figure out the remedy tomorrow. Feelings like this success don’t come along that often, so I am certainly going to enjoy it!
Mark Hateley and Alan Biley made my favourite season.
