My wife thinks you are a hero and a bit mad. But then she thought I was crackers leaving home at 4am to get to away matches but at least I spent most of the time on a coach.

I knew we would do it. I had never been more confident about Pompey than at any other time.

Further good news is that I have passed my audition to become a model advertising a well known brand of incontinence underwear.

Like you I was confident we’d get the job done and I was not at all nervous before the match last night….mind you with 7 mins to go I was thinking about the pressure on the Wigan game if we’d lost.

Great to celebrate on the pitch with all the Pompey fans and players last night !

A very accurate and insightful article in my view.

In part that opinion may be because it chimes very closely with my view of the way the last 18 months have gone.
