Top man - hard, but fair. Citeh are a bunch of northern jessies, lured by Arabian gold - Joey Barton is a prince among men, teaching our children the way real men behave. Geat bloke and good to his Mum as well - if Woy wants to sort out the Engerland midfield then Joey's your man. Better to have him on the field for his normal 10 minutes than Fat Frank fannying around for 90 minutes.......

Re: Barton - the madness
I'd pay good money to see someone lump him one on the pitch one day. Maybe even end his career. Pure scum.

Re: Barton - the madness
Tevez should have had a red card as well
You can take the man out of Pompey
But you can`t take Pompey out of the man

Re: Barton - the madness
Maybe the could have balotelli v Barton on the same card as the upcoming Haye v Chisora fight

What about Barton vs Haye and then Barton vs Chisora. (with mandatory 12 rounds, no let offs with knock outs or anything soft like that)Norman Piper wrote:Maybe the could have balotelli v Barton on the same card as the upcoming Haye v Chisora fight
Would be far more entertaining.
I THINK WE NEED A BIGGER BOAT!

The following is a quote from Barton taken from the BBC site:-
"He added: "The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take one of theirs with me. It never worked but god loves a trier."
Now if that is the attitude of the team then the FA should take action against the club as well as against the individual.
Totally unacceptable and it is now time to kick this thug out of the game for good.

We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home. – Aboriginal proverb.
