Now up to 9th with 7 golds, winning the men's 470 sailing, at the expense of the Team GB pair.

Australia have less Golds than London People and only just above Yorkshire

We also have as many Golds as Germany, France & Italy added together.

Yorkshire still have gold medal hopes, including Peter Sutcliffe with the hammer.

You can't blame the Aussies for their poor medal performance. After all, if they ran any faster, they wouldn't be Aussies in the first place.

Presumably they'll be campaigning for Aussie Rules to become an Olympic sport as that's all they are good at these days.

Jasper, Jasper, Jasper, do please keep up.

Both Union Flag and Union Jack are correct names for our national flag. THis was proclaimed in Parliament in 1908, having been decided by the Admiralty in 1902 (I think it was) and discussed heavily on this very forum less than a week ago. The belief that Union Jack is only correct when flown from the bow of a warship is erroneous.
