He isn't leaving Vatican City though as he's moving into a nice retirement suite previously occupied by nuns. So it seems a tad extravagant...

Be fair, he is moving to humble temporary lodgings outside Rome while his humble permanent residence is completely refurbished.

I dont think he will be long for this world myself, but as I am not a catholic it wont affect me, however I am a great fan of Henry V111. :D

I thought it was a perk of the job to get to use your chopper -especially once you get to Cardinal. Wasn't it great timing that Stonewall had voted the Scottish Cardinal that has just resigned Bigot of the Year last year for his outspoken views on homosexuality? The Catholic heirarchy is a disgrace. By chance, had a friend over last night who is reading a book about popes over the ages (not really my thing!) and in the 13th Century, a pope had a whorehouse full of nubile young wenches attached to his palace for his own personal pleasure.
