O/T: The Worst Album Ever Made?

Post by Farmers Boy »

I've bought some stinkers in my time, Chicago 7, Trout Mask Replica, Deceit by This Heat...but this probably tops the lot for complete and utter uselessness.....I give you Brian Wilson's Smile.
No wonder it was kept under wraps for 37 years..it was carp then and is just as awful now. Half baked ideas, nonesense lyrics...boy was this ever a case of the Emperor's New Clothes.

Never actually heard 2nd Coming....but have always thought the Roses were hugely overrated....one or two pleasantish toons but NO WAY as 'important' as some make out.

The Joshua Tree. Really don't understand what everyone likes about it.

I did a car boot sale once and had a load of my nan's crap to get rid of, including a Des O'Connor vinyl. Towards the end, it still hadn't sold so I put a big "FREE" sticker on it. An old lady saw it and took it. About half an hour later an old bloke gave it back to me and said we're not having that in the ******* house.

Couldn't even give it away!
