Could be strengthening the defence
I just got this link from a Millwall fan and he says good things of the man:-

Re: Could be strengthening the defence
Apparently he's suffered from injuries in recent years according to a mate of mine, so maybe he's just coming to try and prove (or improve) his fitness with a few games in League 2.
Can't be a bad signing though, experienced Championship centre-back. And clearly a leader if he's previously captained Millwall.
Slightly surprising move, although it strengthens the area where we're weakest.

You are getting a very honest and very capable player in Robbo, he entered the Millwall Legends club many years ago and most of us supporters think he could still do a job with us. Look after him we may well want him back. He did have an injury two seasons ago but was fit and well at the end of last season you have made a great acquisition. Good luck with the the new season we miss the Pompey chimes always great atmosphere when you lot come up to the smoke.

Cheers Lennie. Pretty much matches what the Millwall fan in my office says and he goes to most home games. Personally, I'm quite excited by this signing, especially as pre season reports mainly show us a bit weak in defence.

Yes cheers Lennie, always good to have fans of other teams on here. Hopefully he will be an asset to the team as you say.
I'm a bit unclear, is he in on a months loan or have we signed him permanently?
Oh and Lennie, please feel welcome and free to stick around and continue to post. Something we miss from the 606 days is the chat with fans from other clubs.
...and it doesn't mean there's any danger of us liking you, there's plenty of Southampton regulars on here too, and we all think they're a bunch of ******
(We love you really ziggy, ISF and jasper - linford not so much )

Ha ha - I think you'll find we are a reasonable bunch on here. A lot of us even signed that petition you had going a while back regarding selling off land to Lewisham Council.
